NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. – For 19 young dancers at Studio 1014 in Neptune Beach, their dreams will come true when they perform in London at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
The girls will represent the Southeast region.
Outside their studio, door are plastered with signs reminding the girls, as well as parents and fans, that they only have six more days until they leave for London and perform in front of the same crowds who will be cheering on the United States Olympic team.
"I can't really explain it, but it's just so amazing. It's just really exciting," said dancer Emily Waters.
The girls range in ages from 4 to 18. The experience has turned into a trip of a lifetime for one local family. Waters and her two sisters will get to enjoy the experience as a family.
Studio 1014 performs on August 4 and 5, once on the grounds of Warwick Castle and once in Greenwich.
The Olympics opening ceremonies are this Friday.
