MIAMI – A man who police said shot three people in Miami Sunday is on the run.
Miami Police said Erin Cash, 23, got into a physical confrontation with his girlfriend in a car while their 3-year-old son was in the backseat. The girlfriend told police Cash was threatening her and their son. The girlfriend, afraid for her life, jumped from the moving car near Northwest 13th Avenue and Northwest 41st Street, police said.

Cash then dropped his son off at his mother's, the boy's grandmother's home.
He then went on a shooting spree, shooting two of his girlfriend's brothers, according to police. He shot the first brother near Northwest 12th Avenue and Northwest 64th Street, and the second two blocks away on Northwest 10th Avenue, police said. Both were grazed, one in the neck and the other in the arm.
Police said Cash tried to fire at a third person, but missed his target and instead shot an innocent bystander in the leg. There was no immediate word about the condition of that victim.
Police said Cash got away in a white 4-door Pontiac 2006 with the gas tank door slightly ajar.
They found the car on Sunday afternoon, but not Cash. Family members said they are in contact with Cash and are trying to convince him to turn himself in, police said. Cash's mother told officers she was very surprised and upset by her son's actions.
Cash is wanted on attempted murder charges and is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on Cash's whereabouts is asked to call police.
