Police: Man contacts girlfriend after beating her unconscious

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville police are looking for a man they said continues to contact his ex-girlfriend more than a month after beating her unconscious.

On July 4, Michael Davis, 33, was arguing with his girlfriend when he knocked her unconscious, causing her to bleed from her nose and mouth, police said. Doctors determined the woman suffered multiple fractures to her face and head.

A warrant has been issued for Davis' arrest, yet he continues to contact his ex-girlfriend, according to police.
