Tractor hits power pole, wires fall on another tractor in Baker County

Neither driver injured in crash

BAKER COUNTY, Fla. – A tractor hit a wire connected to a power pole, causing the wires to fall onto another tractor, said Florida Highway Patrol troopers.

The crash happened on S.R. 121 at George Hodges Road about 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

Troopers said a tractor attempted to make a right onto George Hodges Road jumped the curb and hit a wire connected to a power pole.

The power pole snapped in half, causing the wires to fall onto the second tractor.

Neither driver was injured.

S.R. 121 was closed about about 90 minutes as police cleared the scene.
