Cops arrest 4 shooting suspects

Detectives: Suspects connected to shootings in West Augustine

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Four men have been arrested in connection with a series of shootings in the West Augustine area in October, according to authorities.

The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said the four suspects were Denzel Daquan Gadson, 19, Tren nod Gerail Gadson, 21, Kenneth William Floyd, Jr., 22, and Everett Davon Thompson, 31.

Detectives said they began the investigation on October 16th after learning several individuals were involved in at least two incidents of gunfire near West King Street.

Authorities said a vehicle was shot at in the area. A second incident of gunfire happened on Collier Street adjacent to Murray Middle School.

Thompson and Daquan Gadson were each charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, deputies said.

Authorities said Floyd was charged with discharging a firearm from a vehicle and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Tren Gadson was charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle, deputies said.

Authorities said Thompson was arrested on other charges out of Georgia in Dekalb County, Georgia by the U.S. Marshal's Service.

Deputies said the other three suspects were booked into the St. Johns County Jail and are being held on bonds of $250,000 on each charge.

Additional suspects could be sought and charged as the investigation continues, authorities said.
