Man, woman arrested in meth lab bust

FORT WHITE, Fla. – A man and a woman were arrested Thursday after deputies serving a search warrant found them actively processing clandestine methamphetamine, according to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office.

Daniel Dyal, 43, and Shannon Stamper, 40, are each charged with grand theft auto, possession of methamphetamine, possession of listed chemicals, manufacture of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Investigators who searched the home in the 1000 block of Southwest Faulkner Drive in Fort White said they seized about 500 grams of methamphetamine. In addition to the narcotics seizure, a stolen scooter was also seized by deputies, they said.

Dyal and Stamper were booked into the Columbia County Detention Facility with bail set at $76,000.
