Man, woman sought after robbing Red Roof Inn

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are looking for a man and a woman who robbed a Northside hotel Friday morning.

Jacksonville police said the duo went into the lobby of the Red Roof Inn in the 1000 block of Airport Road about 6 a.m. and approached an employee working behind the counter.

The woman hid her hand behind her back and said she had a gun and demanded money from the cash register, police said. They said the man then walked around counter and again demanded the cash from the register.

The employee complied with the demands, and both robbers fled on foot.

The woman is described as being in her late 30s or early 40s, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and has long blonde hair with black streaks. The man is described as being in his late 20s or early 30s, about 6 feet tall and has a red goatee.
