Slow traffic after semi crash

Accident involving semi and car lead to heavy onlooker delays

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Traffic is moving slow on I-95 Southbound near Emerson Street after an accident involving a semi and a car, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Officials were dispatched to the scene around 6 a.m. Tuesday morning, according to FHP's website.

The crash involving a semi and a car happened in the Southbound lanes of I-95 in between the Downtown exits and the Emerson exit.

The semi and car have been moved to the right emergency lane so no lanes are blocked, but traffic is heavy in the area due to onlooker delays.
