Brunswick teens charged in home invasion

Suspects found hiding in car

BRUNSWICK, Ga. – Two Brunswick teens were arrested and charged in a home invasion on Thursday morning.

Glynn County police responded to a home on Sweet Gum Drive after the resident reported he was awakened by two males who kicked in his bedroom door.

He reported one of the men pointed a gun at him and told him to put his head down.  A cell phone, jewelry, and three guns were stolen from the home.   The victim was not injured.

After the suspects left the home, a witness saw two males walking behind her house and phoned police.

A lookout was given to local law enforcement and within minutes, an officer spotted a vehicle being driven by a female with two males attempting to hide in the back seat.

After a traffic stop and investigation, all occupants were arrested.

Tyler Addison, 19, and Deandre Whitfield, 18, face several charges.  Addison's mother, Venus Addison, 47, was driving the car.  Police arrested her and charged her with burglary.
