FHP said authorities are continuing to look for smoke in the area. Although the fire is out, there could be a few remaining hot spots.

Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling near the area. Visibility may deteriorate quickly due to smoke or fog type conditions, especially during the night time and early morning hours, authorities said.

Motorists are reminded to reduce their speed and use low beam headlights in order to adapt to changing weather conditions.
