ORLANDO, Fla. – A woman was dragged into the woods and raped late Sunday night near Valencia College in Orlando, according to deputies.
The rape happened near Valenica College Lane and Chickasaw Trail, just west of State Roads 408 and 417.

Orange County sheriff's deputies said the woman managed to get away after the sexual battery.
"We do not have a lot of sexual batteries in this area -- these are very isolated. But we still encourage anybody who's walking or exercising late at night to try to do it in the daytime when it's a little safer, but if not, walk in visible areas, keep your cellphone with you, have a flashlight so cars don't crash into you and be aware of your surroundings," Orange County sheriff's Lt. Paul Hopkins said.
Deputies were searching the wooded area for clues.
A detailed description of the assailant has not been released.
