Woman sought in school car burglary, financial fraud

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police in Jacksonville are looking for a woman who used stolen financial information to withdraw a large sum of money from the victim's bank account.

Police said the fraud was in connection with a car burglary at Abess Park Elementary School on Abess Boulevard in East Arlington sometime before 4 p.m. Jan. 18.

Investigators said when the victim returned to her parked car, she found the window smashed and her purse, including financial information, missing from the vehicle.

At a later time, a woman used the stolen information to withdraw money from the victim's account from a bank at an undisclosed location.
