Deputies: Clay County teacher arrested with cocaine in purse

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – Deputies with the Clay County Sheriff's Office say a fifth-grade teacher has been been arrested after staff at her school found cocaine in her purse in her classroom.

According to CCSO, 23-year-old Ashlea Eucker is a fifth grade teacher at Plantation Oaks Elementary School in the Oakleaf area of Clay County.

Eucker, who has been with the school system for about one year, was in a meeting with school administrators when the cocaine was discovered, officials said.

CCSO said Eucker has no prior criminal record in Clay County. Eucker remains in Clay County Jail and will most likely have a first appearance in court Thursday morning, said deputies.

Eucker is charged with possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.
