ORANGE PARK, Fla. – A funeral was held Friday morning for a Creekside High School assistant basketball coach killed in a head-on crash.
A service for Alicia Gladden, 27, was held at 11 a.m. at the Orange Park Christian Center on 530 Madeira Drive.

Gladden was driving south on Roosevelt Boulevard near McDuff Avenue in Avondale on April 19 when police say a speeding car crossed over the grass median and struck Gladden's car head-on.
Gladden, who lived in Orange Park, and the driver of the second car, Sean Wieland, of Jacksonville, were pronounced dead at the scene in a fiery crash, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Investigators said there were indications Wieland had been drinking and he was going too fast to be able to negotiate a curve before his vehicle crossed the median into oncoming traffic.
Gladden starred on the Florida State women's basketball team from 2003-07. She was known as "Ice" because of her smooth playing style. She is the only Seminole to capture ACC All-Defensive Team honors three times, according to the Florida State Seminoles.
