Walston got into a fight with the two victims at Club Myth in Clay County. The fight started inside the bar and then carried over into the club's parking lot.

During the fight, Walston stabbed Smith, 24, in the chest and Martin, 24, in the left arm. Smith died at the scene, and Martin died at the hospital.

"This defendant took everything from these two young men -- their pasts, their presents and their futures -- when he took their lives. The defendant now faces life in prison for this double murder," said Assistant State Attorney James Colaw.

Walston will be sentenced May 31.
