4 women sought in Saks Fifth Avenue theft

Deputies: Women stole $8K in merchandise


ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – St. John's County deputies are asking for the public's help in identifying four women sought in connection with a theft at Saks Fifth Avenue at the St. Augustine Premium Outlets.

The suspects entered the store shortly before 5 p.m. Thursday with large purses and shopping bags. It is believed they stole items amounting to about $8,000 in jeans, hats and handbags.

According to witnesses, the four females left the area in a blue car with a possible license plate of D4970W, but the tag number was not found to be on record in Florida.
