Witnesses in the George Zimmerman trial

SANFORD, Fla. – In the first five days of testimony, prosecutors in the trial of George Zimmerman called 22 witnesses:

1. Chad Joseph testified June 24. The 15-year-old was the last one to spend time with Trayvon Martin before Zimmerman killed him Feb. 26, 2012. The two teens played Play Station 3 and watched T.V before Trayvon left walking to a nearby 7-Eleven to buy him candy. He told Trayvon he wanted Skittles.

2. Andrew Gaugh testified June 24. The 7-Eleven clerk who last saw Trayvon Martin buying Skittles and an Arizona brand watermelon fruit juice.

3. Sean Noffke testified June 24. He was the 911 dispatcher who answered George Zimmerman's non-emergency call on Feb. 26, 2012. He was born in New Jersey, but grew up in Florida. VIDEO: Highlights of his testimony.

4. Ramona Rumph testified June 26, and helped Assistant State Attorney Richard Mantei introduce five calls that George Zimmerman made before the Feb. 26, 2012 call. The non-emergency calls were to alert police about suspicious people that the crime watch volunteer had spotted in the neighborhood. Rumph is Seminole County Sheriff's Office communications manager. She has worked for Seminole County for about 26 years.

5. Don O'Brien testified June 25. O'Brien is the president of home owners association of The Retreat at Twin Lakes neighborhood, said it was his understanding that neighborhood watch volunteers never followed suspects.

6. Wendy Dorival testified June 25. She is the Sanford Police Department's Neighborhood Crime Watch volunteer coordinator. She is also a crime prevention practitioner and said that when she trains volunteers she tells them to stay away from suspects and notify police. During her testimony, she said Zimmerman was eager to serve his community.

7. Sgt. Anthony Raimondo is the Sanford Police officer who tried to revive Trayvon by performing CPR. Raimondo served as a U.S. Marine. According to the Sanford Herald Sanford Raimondo was accused of lying from the witness stand in a felony case, and was cleared of the accusation in 2010.

8. Diana Smith: Sanford Police Department Crime scene technician Diana Smith testified Tuesday in the second-degree murder Zimmerman trial. Attorneys asked her to identify the Feb. 26, 2012 evidence collected.

The judge will be deciding about previous calls the former neighborhood watchmen made to police.

9. Selene Bahadoor lived at the Retreat at Twin Lakes in Sanford when Trayvon died. She was in the kitchen when she heard noise that sounded like a movement from "left to right," she said. She also said she saw two people "flailing" their arms, heard a gunshot and then saw a body facing down on the grass. Defense attorneys pointed out she liked a Change.org petition related to the case.

10. Jayne Surdyka lived at the Retreat at Twin Lakes in Sanford when Trayvon died. She said she heard two voices. The low pitch voice, she said, was that of Trayvon. The triathlete was distraught.

11. Jeannee Manalo lived at the Retreat at Twin Lakes in Sanford with her husband and daughter when Trayvon died. She was watching TV when she heard a loud noise. Her husband told her to "mind her own business." When they heard a gunshot, her husband went outside. She said she saw two shadows and the side of Zimmerman's face.

12. Rachel Jeantel is the prosecutions star witness. The 19-year-old Miami Gardens high school student was the last one to talk to Trayvon on the phone the night when Zimmerman killed him. During testimony, she described how he ran away from some one who was following him. Defense attorney Don West said her statements were inconsistent.

13. Raymond McDonald is a senior manager at T-Mobile. He talked about the way calls are archived.

14. Jenna Lauer was a resident at The Retreat at Twin Lakes neighborhood. The recording of the 911 call she made the night of the fatal shooting captured the screams that upset one of the jurors and prompted the exit of Trayvon Martin's mom from the courtroom. 

15. Selma Mora was a resident at The Retreat at Twin Lakes neighborhood. She was from Colombia and requested an interpreter. She said she studied architecture in Colombia. She heard a noise, walked out and saw a man on top of another.

16. Greg McKinney works in Information Technology and Services for the company contracted to  run surveillance cameras at The Retreat at Twin Lakes gated community. He was asked to retrieve the surveillance video from the day Zimmerman killed Trayvon, Feb. 26, 2012. He said that two out of nine cameras were not working -- including the camera by the gate. And the time stamps were off by 18 minutes.

17. John Good was a resident at The Retreat at Twin Lakes neighborhood. He said he was watching TV when he heard noises outside. He stepped out of his town home and saw two people on the ground.

18. Jonathan Manalo, whose wife testified earlier in the week, was the first neighbor to step outside and see what happened with his flashlight after he heard a gunshot. Manalo also described Martin's hands as being under his body and said Zimmerman didn't appear shocked and acted calmly.

19. Ricardo Ayala - Sanford police officer testified about his attempts to revive Trayvon Martin.

20. Stacey Livingston - A Sanford Fire-Rescue emergency medical technician who treated Zimmerman's injuries.

21. Timothy Smith - the first Sanford police officer to respond to the shooting scene.

22. Lindzee Folgate is a physician assistant. She examined Zimmerman a day after the fatal shooting. She did not think stitches were needed, nor was she sure that Zimmerman's nose was broken, because she did not have an X-ray machine.

23. Hirotaka Nakasone is assigned to the operational technology division of the FBI. He is an expert on voice recognition systems. He testified that a person familiar with a voice can contribute to identification, which could mean relatives may be asked to testify on the 911 recording that captures screams for help.

24. Doris Singleton is the Sanford police officer who interviewed Zimmerman at the police station after the fatal shooting.

25. Chris F. Serino is the Sanford police homicide investigator in the case. Serino interviewed Zimmerman several times including Feb. 26 and Feb. 29, 2012. He said he found it "odd" that  Zimmerman was concerned about going to class after having killed some one. Serino also added that his comments about Trayvon during his call to police showed "ill will."

6. Mark Osterman is George Zimmerman's best friend. He co-authored a book based on Zimmerman's account of what happened Feb. 26, 2012.

27. Valerie Rao is a medical examiner from Jacksonville and a former medical examiner in Miami-Dade County. She did not perform the autopsy on Trayvon Martin. The prosecution asked her to opine on Zimmerman's injuries, which she classified as "insignificant." 

28. Kristen Bentsen is a Seminole County finger print analyst.

29. Sonja Boles-Melvin is the director of enrollment services/registrar at Seminole State College of Florida. She verified Zimmerman's school records and that he had aspired to graduate in the Spring of 2012.

30. Scott Kearns is a Prince William County Police Lieutenant. He said Zimmerman's July 8, 2009 application was destroyed, but there was a record of the application.

31.  Alexis Carter was Zimmerman's teacher at Seminole State College criminal litigation class in Spring of 2010. Army Capt. Carter was a military prosecutor.

32. Jim Krzenski is the Sanford Police Department records manager. He confirmed Zimmerman applied to participate in a ride along.

33. Gordon S. Pleasants was Zimmerman's teacher at Seminole State College. He said Zimmerman posted June 23, 2011 he wanted to become an attorney and eventually a prosecutor.

34. Amy Siewert is a Florida Department of Law Enforcement firearms laboratory analyst. She determined the shot that killed Trayvon was a contact shot.

35. Anthony Gorgone is a Florida Department of Law Enforcement DNA analyst. He concluded there was no DNA from Trayvon Martin in Zimmerman's gun.
