JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Crime Stoppers will now be putting up more money for rewards, with the hope of solving more times.
Right now, it offers rewards of $1,000 for information leading to arrests and convictions.

It will now offer $3,000 rewards for some cases, such as killings and other major crimes.
Crime Stoppers hopes doing so will be an added incentive for people to offer tips.
The reward money comes from those convicted of crimes.
