Lake City Council member's motorcycle stolen


LAKE CITY, Fla. – A Lake City Council member's motorcycle was one of two stolen Saturday, and now police are asking for the public's help in finding it.

Police said the motorcycles were taken from a bike trailer parked in the 100 block of Northeast Lee Lane in Lake City.

Police said they currently have the information on only one motorcycle. It is a 2009 Suzuki Hayabusa with Florida license plate No. 2298NE. It's grey with white lettering and has an extension to the rear wheel.

Anyone with any information about the motorcycle thefts is asked to call the Lake City Police Department at 386-758-5448.
