JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 10-year-old boy was pulled from a swimming pool at a motel on the Northside late Monday afternoon.
The boy was taken to UF Health Jacksonville as a precaution.
The near drowning happened at a motel in the 1000 block of Broward Road about 5 p.m.
Police said someone saw the boy going under and jumped in.
He was conscious and alert when he was taken to the hospital.
