JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was found shot inside a vehicle in Springfield late Monday night and later died at a hospital, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Police responded to Ionia Street around 11:30 p.m. in reference to a shooting. When they arrived, they found 23-year-old Kevin Jones with a gunshot wound. He was transported to UF Health where he died, according to Sgt. Jay Farhat with JSO.

One witness was taken in for questioning. A motive was unknown early Tuesday morning.
