Family Dollar store burglary sought

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police in Jacksonville are looking for a man they said burglarized a Northside Family Dollar store late Tuesday night.

Officers were called to the store in the 1600 block of West Edgewood Avenue about 11:40 p.m.

Police said a black man wearing a gray shirt, camouflage pants and gray baseball cap entered the store by breaking the front glass door. They said he ran to the back of the store, where he took a trash can and went to the front of the store to an area containing various clothing, as seen on surveillance video.

The burglar filled the trash can with merchandise and exited the side door of the business.
