Shoe giveaway scheduled for the needy

JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA – 1,500 new adult athletic shoes are being given away this morning at the City Rescue Mission's Thrift Store. If there are some shoes left, organizers say they'll plan another giveaway.

"An anonymous donation just called us up one day and told us he has 1500 shoes he'd like to donate. We told him we could help," said Penny Kievet who is the executive director for the City Rescue Mission.
