2 fugitives arrested in Columbia County

Man, woman charged with attempted murder, false imprisonment

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla. – Two fugitives were arrested Wednesday after being stopped for speeding in Columbia County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Neville Moore, 28, of Pembroke Pines, and Tawana Duncan, 35, of Miami, are each charged with attempted murder and false imprisonment. Moore is also charged with kidnapping, and Duncan is also charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

Troopers said Moore was driving 90 mph while heading south on Interstate 75 at mile marker 423 about 9:20 a.m.

Troopers stopped the car, and after running ID checks, they arrested both suspects.

The two were booked into the Columbia County jail without bail.
