Attempted car burglar, camera thief sought

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – Investigators with the Flagler County Sheriff's Office are seeking the public's help in identifying a man who was picked on a home video surveillance system attempting to break into a car parked in someone's driveway.

Detectives said the incident happened just before 3 a.m. Oct. 25 in the area of Cimmaron Drive and Comanche Court.

They said the man was seen trying to make entry into two vehicles parked in the victim's driveway and then walking up and looking into a surveillance camera outside the home.

The man returned to the home at about 4:30 a.m., at which time he stole the outside video camera, deputies said.

The man is described as white, in his 20s, with long, curly hair. Investigators believe he may live in the area.
