SANFORD, Fla. – No charges will be filed in the domestic violence incident with George Zimmerman and his girlfriend, the state attorney's office announced on Wednesday.
Zimmerman was arrested last month on aggravated assault, battery-domestic violence, and criminal mischief charges in an domestic dispute with his girlfriend, Samantha Schiebe.

Schiebe originally told deputies Zimmerman pointed a shotgun at her, smashed a glass table and pushed her out of the house they shared.
On Tuesday, Schiebe said she didn't want to press charges against Zimmerman, and according to court documents, there was an argument but Zimmerman "never pointed a gun at or toward my face in a threatening manner."
State Attorney Phil Archer said on Wednesday it was clear there was probable cause to arrest Zimmerman, but "upon reviewing the recent affidavit of the Ms. Scheibe and taking into account the conflicting statements about what occurred, the failure to cooperate with the ongoing investigation, and a lack of any other corroborating evidence or witnesses, there is no reasonable likelihood of successful prosecution."
Archer said there will be no further criminal charges in the domestic violence incident with Schiebe.
Zimmerman's wife, Shellie, announced in September that she was filing for divorce from her husband. George Zimmerman was finally served with divorce papers while he was in jail last month, according to Shellie's attorney Kelly Sims.
The 30-year-old Neighborhood Watch leader who was acquitted this summer in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, has made headlines several times since his acquittal, including a domestic violence incident with his estranged wife, visiting a gun manufacturing facility in Brevard County and rescuing a family from an overturned SUV.
