ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol said several teens were injured after the truck they were riding in the bed of struck a home Sunday afternoon.
Troopers said the accident happened just before noon at 7444 Kalani Street.

Yan Santiago, 16, was driving when he failed to make a turn on Kalani Street. Santiago lost control of the truck after he tried to overcompensate and hit the home.
Troopers said Santiago suffered only minor injuries, but four other teens riding in the back of his truck suffered more severe injuries.
Troopers said 16-year-old Ricardo Ortiz, 16-year-old Ariana Rivera, 16-year-old John Largo and 16-year-old Miguel Liriano were all taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital to be treated for their injuries.
Charges are pending.
