JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 29-year-old Palm Coast man who as lying in the a lane of the Interstate in Flagler County on Friday night run over by two cars, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers say Patrick Amaral was lying in the enter lane of the highway at 9:40 p.m. when he was struck by a Honda Civic, then a Toyota XB. The victim died at the scene.

Both vehicles stopped and neither driver was injured.
The FHP says it was not known why Amaral was lying on the highway. An autopsy would determine any intoxication of other physical reason why Amaral was in the road.
