JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – For some, simply living to be 70-years-old is a feat in and of itself.
But a Jacksonville couple is celebrating 70 years of marriage.

Friends and family of Tommy and Lucille Martin gathered to honor their platinum anniversary Sunday afternoon.
There was live music and singing, and they even had a big feast together.
Lucille told us that in 70 years, her husband has done everything right.
"He ain't made no mistakes, that's one thing, he did everything good, and I'm enjoying it, " Lucille said.
"Just like they told us a long time ago, a family prays together, stays together."
"I was surprised these many people came to my anniversary its good to be married for so long," Tommy said.
The couple says their relationship started out as just a good friendship...that quickly grew into a great love.
