Moore is accused of stealing firearms, jewelry, watches, cell phones and other miscellaneous property worth thousands of dollars from a home before fleeing in the SUV. He was driving on I-95 when he pulled over and ditched the vehicle. He then "approached a Burglar Apprehension Team officer who was in an unmarked vehicle, and he asked for a ride," said Broward Sheriff's Office Capt. Robert Schnakenberg.

The officer agreed to the ride and Moore was taken to the Broward County Jail and booked into custody. Specific charged have not yet been filed.

The burglary victim was able to recover all of the items that were stolen from his home.
