In August 2010, Mills shot multiple times at the three victims while they were both driving in a residential neighborhood. The shooting stemmed from a dispute over money.
Mills then fled the area, but was arrested later that day. None of the victims were injured in the shooting.
Mills was sentenced to a 20 year minimum-mandatory sentence.
