A 15-month-old boy survived an 11-story fall from a Minneapolis apartment building in what doctors are calling a miracle.
Musa Dayib slipped through slits in the balcony railing and landed on a patch of mulch on Sunday, Reuters reported.
The boy suffered a concussion and fractures to his arms, ribs and spine.
He also has a punctured lung, but avoided any major head injury, Minneapolis TV station WCCO reported.
The boy's father was watching him and his 3-year-old sister at the time. The father had gone into the other room for something when his daughter ran to him saying, "Daddy. The baby fell," Somali community activist Abdirizak Bihi told the Star-Tribune.
Dr. Tina Slusher said she's never seen a child survive such a fall.
"That's a gift from God to the family, because he shouldn't of made it," she told WCCO.
