MADISON, Fla. – The Florida Department of Law Enforcement arrested a Madison County High School teacher on Wednesday on one count of sexual battery by person in custodial authority.
Geoffrey Walter Hill, 42, was booked into jail and held on $250,000 bond.
FDLE said agents began investigating Hill after receiving a complaint from an individual alleging to have been sexually abused by Hill. Hill, a band instructor at Madison County High School, was suspended by the Madison County School District superintendent upon his arrest.
