Police search for suspects, motive in overnight shooting

Police say victim sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are investigating an early-morning shooting in Jacksonville's Grand Park neighborhood.

Investigators with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office say it happened around 2:30 a.m. Saturday the 2600 block of Henrietta Street.  Investigators say one person who they have not identified sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was transported to UF Health Jacksonville.

Following the investigation, police determined the shooting incident took place in the 2600 block of Martha Street.

The Violent Crimes Task Force responded to the scene.  Detectives say they do not yet know a motive.  They also say they do not know the location of the victim's gunshot wound.
