LAKE CITY, Fla. – The Columbia County Sheriff's Office says an argument between a landlord and tenant led to a stabbing incident where four people were hurt.

The Sheriff's Office said it responded to a 911 call Saturday evening on Wendy Terrace. When deputies arrived they found two people had been stabbed and two people were cut.

The investigation revealed an argument between Donald and Leah Fanslow, the landlords, told the occupants they were going to turn off the power to the home.

Police said as the argument intensified, Donald produced a pocket knife and stabbed 29-year-old Rodney Murnahan, 20-year-old Floyd Ferrell and cut 37-year-old Cathern Ferrell. Sometime during the incident, 48-year-old Leah Fanslow received a cut.

Floyd was airlifted to a hospital with a stab wound to his torso. Rodney was taken by ambulance to a hospital for a cut and stab wound to his lower body. Both Cathern and Leah were treated at a hospital for lacerations to their hands and released.

Floyd and Rodney were listed in stable condition.

Donald Fanslow, was arrested and taken to the Columbia County Detention Facility where he was booked on three counts of aggravated battery with a $150,000 bond.

Deputies said the investigation is active and ongoing.
