JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Mandarin man celebrated a milestone Tuesday -- he turned 103 years old.
Maurice "Maury" Goldstein celebrated with friends and family at Beach Road Chicken Dinners in St. Nicholas, one of his favorite places in Jacksonville.
Goldstein and his family started the tradition when he turned 100.
"It's a wonderful day," said Evelyn Mosovitz. "My dad is 103 years old and we are celebrating with all our family and friends. We plan to come back for 104."
News4Jax asked Goldstein what he had to say about turning 103 Tuesday night. He didn't say much about his birthday other than, "It's an awfully big number."
