Police seeking forgery suspect on Northside

JSO is asking for the assistance of the community in attempting to identify and locate a suspect who attempted to pass a forged check at the Community First Credit Union on Lem Turner Road.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is asking for the assistance of the community in attempting to identify and locate a forgery suspect on the city's Northside.

The suspect was captured on video July 5, attempting to pass a forged check at the Community First Credit Union on Lem Turner Road. The check was previously stolen from an elderly victim.

The suspect fled the area in an unknown direction.
