Talk about a sticky situation.

A British couple recently returned from their honeymoon to find the entire first floor of their home covered in thousands of Post-it notes.

Turns out, Jamie and Emily Pharro's friends were behind the prank.

They even set up a hidden camera to record the couple's reaction as they opened the door, the Daily Mail reported.

It took their friends eight hours to pull off the sticky stunt. As for what they had to say for themselves, a note left on the TV read: "So sorry."

The Pharros spent 2 1/2 hours removing all the Post-it notes.
