Beach officials said they expect the same conditions for jellyfish on Sunday as they do not seem to be moving off with the current. They will be flying a purple flag to warn swimmers about jellyfish.

Officials said they had to rescue 11 people from rip currents, but no one had to be transported to the hospital.

Officials said they are also experiencing soft sand issues due to lack of rain and tides and will have portions of the beach closed Sunday because of it.
