JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are investigating a shooting at a hotel in the Spring Park area.
Officers told News4Jax a man was shot through a door of a hotel room Thursday night at the Mount Vernon Motor Lodge on Philips Highway.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said the man was taken to UF Health with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are searching for the shooter.
