ORLANDO, Fla. – There are new details on the federal investigation into George Zimmerman.
The Washington Post is reporting the Department of Justice is not expected to move forward with civil rights charges against Zimmerman, 30, in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.
Three law enforcement officials told the paper there is not enough evidence to bring federal charges.
Zimmerman was acquitted last year of a second-degree murder charge in the shooting death of Martin.
According to the report, a spokesperson for the Justice Department said the civil rights investigation is still ongoing.
