JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 33-year-old Jacksonville woman was sentenced this week to a total of 20 years in prison for three counts of attempted manslaughter by act and one count of discharging a firearm from a vehicle.

Damanecia Robertson, who was convicted in July, received five years on each of the four counts and will serve the sentences consecutively.

In April 2011, the victim was driving home when Robertson pointed a pistol at his vehicle and fired it at him and three other passengers inside the car, prosecutors said.

As the victim attempted to flee from Robertson, she continued to follow and shoot at the vehicle repeatedly, prosecutors said.
