JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – A pedestrian was hit by a car Saturday night in Jacksonville Beach, according to police.
Police said it happened at 3rd Street and 8th Avenue North near the Dairy Queen.

Jacksonville Beach police said the person was taken to the hospital and their condition is unknown at this time.
Their identity was not released at the scene.
