Sheriff's office holds 5th gun buyback
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville police collected 422 guns from the general public during its buyback event Saturday.
The event took place at Christ's Church in Mandarin.
Police gave out $50 cash for each firearm they received. In addition, another $50 was donated to the Police Athletic League of Jacksonville.
Saturday's event was the fifth buyback held by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
