JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Jacksonville police officer, a woman and a child are all OK after being involved in a crash Monday morning in Northwest Jacksonville.
Police said the officer was driving on Jones Road near Rewis Road just before 9:30 a.m. when a woman driving another car turned in front of her and hit the passenger's side.

Police said there was a toddler in the car who they believe was being watched by the driver. Neither was hurt, but both were taken to a hospital as a precautionary measure.
The officer was OK.
The woman driving the other car was ticketed, police said.
The road was blocked while police investigated.
