Riderless horse jumps on SUV in Middleburg

MIDDLEBURG, Fla. – A horse that bucked its rider tried to jump over an SUV on Blanding Boulevard on Wednesday, but ended up smashing the vehicle's windshield.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Kirby Casselman was riding a horse on Blanding Boulevard when he was thrown out of the saddle.

The horse then tried to jump over Brown's SUV, leaving the damage seen in photos.

State troopers said alcohol was involved in the incident, but because a horse is not a motor vehicle, Casselman was not charged with anything.

The horse was shaken up at first, but appeared to be OK, according to troopers. As for the SUV driver, she was unharmed, but hopes the rider will pay for damages done to her vehicle.
