JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A fire that started in an apartment bathroom left eight units without power and three others damaged. The Red Cross says its assisting 6 people with hotel and food.
Officials were called to the Matthew Crossing apartments off Century 21 Road on the south side Thursday night.
While officials said no one was hurt, they are still looking for other tenants who live there.
Those who live in the damaged apartments were reportedly able to find places to stay.
There is no cause yet as to how the fire began but the state fire marshal will be investigating.
