APOPKA, Fla. – An 11-year-old girl is recovering from injuries, after being shot while sitting inside an Apopka home.
The shooting happened early Sunday morning on 13th Street, near South Central Avenue.

Orange County deputies tell Local 6 the girl was inside the home, when someone starting shooting at the house.
Investigators say she was driven to a nearby hospital by her mother.
The girl was then taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital in Orlando for treatment.
Deputies have not given an update on her condition.
No suspect information is available.
