ATLANTA, Ga. – The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports it created an investigation looking into nepotism rules for Georgia's local governments. The newspaper wanted to find out if the rules to prevent nepotism are adequate or enforced.
It found in the last three years 770 relatives of current employees were hired.

The investigation revealed there is an elected official whose girlfriend works under him in Gwinnett County.
The newspaper found in six governments 1,7000 employees appear to live together.
