PALATKA, Fla. – The Palatka Police Department is seeking information on the identity of an armed robber who reportedly attacked a businessman at the Palatka Ford Dealership early Monday morning.
Around 5:30 a.m. Monday, the PPD responded to the dealership at 420 North Palm Ave. in reference to an armed robbery. The victim said after opening up the business, he was attacked in his office by an unidentified robber, who struck the victim over the head with an unknown object.

The robber took the victim's wallet, some jewelry and an undisclosed amount of cash. The robber discarded several items and then fled the scene on foot.
